The affair will be held at Minnesota’s Restaurant on W. Beech St. beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday October 15th. This prestigous award is the result of endless hours that Rodriguez dedicates to the youth of Long Beach. He serves the young people of this community in many capacities. He runs the recreation wrestling program, he is one of the middle school wrestling and soccer coaches, he is the head coach of the the youth traveleling wrestling team called the Gladiators, volunteers his time with the JV and varsity wrestling programs, works in the middle school as a teaching assistant, and works at the Long Beach Recreation Center. As his former coach and now co-worker, I just want to congratulate Miguel publicly for all he does and let him know how proud he has made his old coaches and the LB Wrestling Program.
